November 7th Reception

I'll have an exhibit of my work shown during November at the Mariposa County Arts Council in Mariposa, California (Just outside Yosemite National Park). The theme is Mughal and Persian portraiture and will include many of the works you see here as well as several new ones. I'll also be on-hand November 7th at 3:30PM for a reception and short lecture where I'll discuss art history covering the Mughal and Persian regions as well as Western artists who were enamored of the Oriental aesthetic in the early 1900s.

I hope to see some of you! Thanks to all of you who made it to the UC Merced exhibition during the summer!

Dip nibs? Really? I use those myself but MAN they are finicky. I keep getting pools of ink or accidentally wiping wet stuff with my palm. How do you do it?
